Thrown and cut sided abstract vase

A slight change of angle on my textured surface. In this vase, I cut the sides giving a faceted surface. During the making process, I introduced natural pigments into the wet clay, the piece was then glazed and fired to 1300 centigrade, with a reduction atmosphere, in which those impurities in the clay migrate to the surface give this piece its wonderful character. Glazed inside for a water-tight pot, ideal for wet or dry flowers.
