Spiral cut bulbous vase with Porcelain inlay.

A beautiful abstract bulbous form  very rich earth colours from the 2023 spring finings. On this piece I made many cuts into the shoulder of the pot, then closed some of these with fresh porcelain clay. It has the delicate feel, of a natural rock, where a fluid stone , like feldspar sometimes melts within a harder rock. It is glazed with a satin dolomite glaze, giving a dry interior . Very much a talking piece  for any collection.  Signed in fired oxide , as with all my one off pieces.
