A large piece, with a massive attitude

Made in the spring of 2025. It became my favourite piece from many firings . It has seen many exhibitions in the north of Europe, and now is the time to put this creation for sale. I will be sad to see this leave my studio, but this will give me the need to make a new best piece of 26 !! This piece has it all,  I made spiral cuts during the early stages of throwing, then as the large cylinder group out, the spirals opened and distorted lots of small detail being detailed by the wood ash with sits in the cuts, and folds.   This is a piece that will speak for many years, and has been well documented  with posters , and websites, as i gave very often these images for promotion of my individual work
